Carving Pumpkins and Costumes!

We carved pumpkins last weekend for Halloween. Below is a picture of Nathan and cousin Ayden, so cute!


Here I am making John's costume...he talked me into making a costume for him on Monday night...we got the fabric Tuesday night and I started working on it Wednesday. Talk about a few crazy days of sewing!

Happy Birthday John!

It is John's 26th Birthday today! John is such a great husband and Dad, we are so glad that he is ours! John had to work today, but when he got off we went to the fabric store...you will see when I post for Halloween...and then went home for his favorite breakfast dish for dinner and ice cream cake for dessert! Pictures to come soon...

Happy Birthday to ME!

For my birthday we went out to Mexican food and then Mark and Xan came over to help John sing. John got me a Marionberry pie...yum! He also got me a KitchenAid Mixer and he surprised me with tickets to a Sarah Bareilles Concert at The Knitting Factory. We had a great time at the Concert, she sounded GREAT live.

Halloween Preview

I was worried that Nathan would be screaming on Halloween when I forced him to wear his costume, but last week Nathan pulled it out of his closet and wanted to put it on! Yay!! Hopefully this means he will wear it for a little while on Halloween! I think he makes such a cute dragon!
