So, once upon a time there was a place called Marineland on the Palos Verdes Peninsula, CA. It opened in 1954, one year before Disneyland, and was considered California's first theme park. Unfortunately, it was closed in 1987 when the owners of Seaworld bought it out, and moved all the cool sharks and other sea mammals to San Diego...Anyways, in 2006 the whole place was demolished after sitting vacant for almost 20 years. We just happened upon the site today where there is now an Interperative center for Whale Watching. They also have this cool little museum with stuff about sharks, the history of the area, and the history of Marineland. Anyways, it was very cool. There is also a Lighthouse that is open to the public every 2nd Saturday of the month. We haven't been to the lighthouse, but we might go this Saturday! It would be neat I think. We had a lot of fun eating our lunch on the lawn, and watching the waves hit the shore!

It was so good to see you the other day! I'm glad you called me as you drove through. Have you guys made it yet? Is Johnny still in St. George?
Your hair looks so cute. I don't think I've seen it that short before, but it looks awesome!
