As I was reading blogs this morning, I noticed a recurring theme...most people are still wearing shorts! It has gotten a bit chilly here lately, highs in the 60's, 70's if we're lucky. Now, I'm not saying this is really cold, but it has warranted pants and jackets. It's not even October yet! I am excited to be pulling out my cute winter clothes that haven't had much use in the past few years, but I am also beginning to wonder how long I'm going to have to wear them! I am a little sad that I can't wear shorts and sandals anymore, but I am also loving the fact that I can curl up on the sofa in front of the fireplace with some hot cocoa! :)

Shorts were a MUST today. It was in the high 80's in San Diego today. You know how Sept. is in Sunny So. Cal though. :) Remember, we have a guest room!

oh...sad! It was SO HOT yesterday and today. 91! Isn't that terrible? It hardly feels like fall. It is supposed to cool this weekend though. If we are going to get rain, does that mean you will get snow? :)
I'm not saying I wish it was hot, in fact, in some ways I'm enjoying the cooler weather...I definitely don't miss HOT weather in September. I do like how the weather follows the seasons! :) Hopefully we don't get snow until at least late October!
Wow, sounds like January already. I am looking forward to visiting Utah for Christmas. I even left a couple sweaters at my mom's last Christmas because I wouldn't need them. It's nice to be in the snow for a week and then go home. I have to say I'm jealous right now since the highs are still in the mid-nineties here in Rocklin. My fall decorations seem a bit out of place.
Yes, I have a pantry full of Stephen's Hot Chocolate that we bought about 2 years ago and have not had a need for here in So Cal! Although I am not jealous of a winter full of cold weather, it would be nice to feel a little chill here now and then!
Well Jessica they say we are going to have a winter like last one where we get like 3 ft in 2 day!! So get lots of hot cocoa and I jealous of your fireplace, we had one in post falls but I guess the vent will have to do to warm me up! This is crazy weather though! Enjoy wearing the Nike sandals for a little longer!
