We need a snow plow!!!!

So it has been snowing since yesterday morning here, and it has gotten amazingly deep, really fast. I haven't seen this much snow since I think I was in 3rd grade. I shoveled our driveway out yesterday morning a little bit after 9...there was about 6 inches or so when I did it. Well, it continued to snow, and this is what we found in the morning...

Before and After the Snow! :)

John managed to get out of the house with the help of one of his assistants and her SUV. They went to do a crown on a patient. Dedication! Our camry wouldn't have made it on the roads with 2-3 feet of snow! We are just enjoying being inside with each other, wrapping presents, playing in the snow and eating...you all know how I love the last one...:)

Thankfully we have a super nice neighbor who used his snowblower to clear our driveway for us. John started shoveling it this morning...what a joke! Then our neighbor came to help. We looked into getting a snowblower a month or so ago and I decided it was too expensive...after this storm I decided it is well worth the money--even if it only snows like this once a year!

We got lucky when Ryan's grandpa passed away and we inherited this one...It is older but it works great...And we had it tuned up this last year just to make sure and now we need more gas from helping everyone! Did you guys get plowed yet? Are you getting one before the next storm on Sunday??

Jess, I totally agree, a blower is worth it!. If we would have lived in Indiana longer, I would have bought one. We found out that it's easier to shovel multiple times of a few inches than once of a few feet.

That is insane!! I'm guessing that snow is on its way here right now.

Ah, shoveling the driveway. I don't miss those days! I was really envious of you guys wearing pants in September, but now not so much. Good luck with the snow blower. I'm glad you got Nathan in the picture to show exactly how many inches it snowed. What was that, more than 35? Did it really snow that much or was that John's pile? Crazy!

Where do you live? I also forget. AND yes! You must invest in a snow thrower--it will save you so many hours! :)
